Refund & Return Policy

1. General Policy & “All Sales Final” Notice

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Except as expressly provided in this Policy (including Section 2 for UK/EU cooling-off rights) or required by law, we do not accept returns or provide refunds for change of mind or unwanted items.

Nothing in this Policy limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws. Please review your statutory rights in Sections 2 and 3 for details.

2. Cooling-Off Rights (UK & EU Customers Only)

If you are a consumer residing in the United Kingdom or European Union and purchase a Product via distance means (e.g., online), you may have a statutory right to cancel your purchase without giving any reason.

  • Notification Period: You must notify us of your decision to cancel within 14 days from the day you (or a nominated recipient) receive the Product.
     

  • Return Period: After notifying us, you must return the Product within a further 14 days.
     

  • Condition of Return: You may handle the Product only as necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning. We may reduce your refund for any diminished value caused by handling beyond this, subject to our reasonable, documented assessment.
     

  • Refund of Delivery Costs: We will refund the original purchase price and the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method we offered. Supplementary costs (e.g., express delivery) are not refundable.
     

  • Digital Content Exception: Your right to cancel expires for digital content (including downloadable software) when supply begins, provided you have given prior express consent via a mandatory checkout confirmation before supply begins and acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal. We will retain records of this consent.
     

  • Sealed Software Exception: Your right to cancel does not apply to sealed audio or video recordings or computer software if unsealed after delivery.

3. Defective Products & Statutory Rights

This Policy does not affect your statutory rights.

  • UK/EU Customers: Under UK and EU consumer law, you have a legal guarantee entitling you to a repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund if the Product is defective or does not conform to the contract. This legal guarantee lasts for the period required by your local law (e.g., at least two years in most EU jurisdictions, longer in some, such as three years in Sweden).
     

  • U.S. Customers: Your rights are provided under applicable federal and state laws, including the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and Uniform Commercial Code.
     

  • Warranty Coverage: In addition to statutory rights, Products are covered by our Limited Hardware Warranty, available pre-purchase at www.myleoeternal.com/warranty. Warranty remedies may include repair, replacement with a new or refurbished unit of equivalent quality and functionality (to the extent permitted by law), or refund.
     

  • Shipping Costs: We will cover all return shipping costs for confirmed defective Products, as fully required by law (e.g., without deduction for UK/EU statutory remedies).
     

  • Verification: All warranty claims are subject to our verification of the defect.

 

4. Refunds

  • Timing:
     

    • UK/EU cooling-off refunds will be processed within 14 days from the day we receive your cancellation notice. We may withhold the refund until we receive the returned Product or proof of shipment.
       

    • All other refunds (e.g., U.S. discretionary returns) will be processed within 30 days of receipt of the returned Product.
       

  • Method: Refunds will be issued to your original payment method.
     

  • Deductions: Deductions apply only to non-defective returns (e.g., cooling-off). For defective Products, refunds are full as required by law.
     

  • Verification: All refund claims are subject to verification of eligibility.

 

5. Customer Responsibilities

As disclosed pre-purchase per applicable law, for cooling-off or change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for:

  • The cost of return shipping.
     

  • Ensuring the Product is returned in suitable protective packaging.
     

  • Risk of loss or damage during return shipping. We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service.
     

For defective Products, we cover return shipping costs and bear the risk in transit, to the extent required by law.

6. Import Duties & International Returns

  • Cooling-Off or Change-of-Mind Returns:
     

    • Customers are responsible for all import duties, taxes, and charges applied by their local customs authorities at the time of delivery. These are non-refundable.
       

    • When sending a Product back to us from outside the UK, you must clearly mark the package as “Returned Goods – Relief Claimed” and include the original invoice number on the customs declaration.
       

    • If you fail to mark the return correctly and UK customs applies import duties or VAT upon re-entry, we may deduct those charges from any refund owed, provided the failure is due to your non-compliance with our provided instructions.
       

    • Any duties, taxes, or fees originally paid to your local customs authority are non-refundable by us.
       

  • Defective Returns:
     

    • For defective Products, we will cover or reimburse import duties, VAT, and return shipping costs, as fully required by law (e.g., UK/EU statutory remedies).
       

    • We will provide clear, written return instructions to minimize customs issues.
       

 

 

 

7. Non-Returnable Items (Except for Defects)

The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable for change-of-mind reasons, or where otherwise prohibited by mandatory law (your statutory rights for defective Products remain unaffected):

  • Opened or activated software or digital licenses.
     

  • Custom-configured or personalized hardware.
     

  • Products damaged through misuse, neglect, or modification.
     

  • Units purchased from unauthorized resellers.
     

 

 

 

8. How to Request a Return

To request a return, please:

  1. Contact us at support@myleoeternal.com with your order number and reason for return.
     

  2. For UK/EU withdrawals, include a clear statement of cancellation (e.g., “I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract of sale for order number [XXX]”). You may use the Model Withdrawal Form below, but it is not required.
     

  3. Obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for warranty or discretionary returns. For UK/EU withdrawals, an RMA is optional; we will process your return based on any valid withdrawal notice.
     

 

 

 

9. Verification & Abuse Prevention

We reserve the right to verify all return claims, require proof (such as photos or receipts), and deny abusive or fraudulent requests, to the extent permitted by law. Examples include proof of defect or purchase date.

 

 

 

10. Governing Law & Mandatory Rights

This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

However, mandatory consumer rights in your jurisdiction (e.g., UK/EU statutory cooling-off rights, legal guarantees, or equivalent local protections) still apply and cannot be waived.

EU consumers may also access local courts in addition to the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform (https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
